The second biggest airport of Germany convices with it’s parallel-runway-system, which allows passenger-amounts of more than 42 million per year.
In addition to the passenger-rate, the airport operates cargo as well. It’s a hub for short and medium flights, as well as long flights, towards Asia, Africa and the USA. They are partly operated by Lufthansa’s new flagship, the A350.
