The biggest airport of the Franken area is a medium spot for airlines like Lufthansa, Eurowings, SunExpress or Germania. It’s base for medium flights, e.g. towards Palma de Mallorca or Antalya.
It has one runway and some non-controlled airports nearby, e.g. Coburg, Bayreuth, Hof-Plauen, Haßfurt-Schweinfurt.
